Sway Bars and Kits

Sway bars (also called anti-roll bars) are the favorite tool of the suspension tuner because they are simple to install and provide the most dramatic improvement of any suspension product. Sway bars improve handling and increase driver and passenger confidence by limiting a car's body roll. Most front wheel drive cars understeer, which is the condition where the front tires lose road adhesion first. The rear sway bar reduces understeer; the front sway bar reduces the opposite condition - oversteer. By installing SAS sway bars, you will notice increased control, smoother cornering, more neutral steering, and a safer feel.

9-5 1999-2006 Road testing and fitment are complete and what a difference. This is larger than even the Aero. 1" (25mm) Front and 7/8" (22mm) Sway Bar with mounting kit & instructions. Even with the taller tires on the base models the car feels flat and predictable in cornering. Body lean is substantially reduced for a remarkable ride. (9-5 Factory bar dia: 19mm front & 16mm rear. Aero = 20mm/17mm)
